Whedon even admits in Buffy why he does it when they came up with the whole Angel felt contentment and loses his soul thing. Got In 25 Miles on the Bike
Felt like crap on the bike, physically. But that’s just this time of year. I’m at my peak in early summer.
It was windy. No one talked to me. The air smelled nice. No dump trucks tried to kill me. There were ducks and a greyhound. Not together.
I feel great now. There’s this feeling in the legs after a good effort. It’s a tired but invigorating feeling.
